CAP Recertification Credits Needed
CAP Level I 4 Credits in 4 years
CAP Level II 5 Credits in 4 years
CAP Level III 6 Credits in 4 years
*Coaches may receive more than the required amount of credits above but only credits earned while their certification is current can be applied toward re-certification.
Current Level I Re-certification:
1. Attend another full CAP I on-site course
2. Attend Day 1 (core sessions) at an onsite CAP I course
3. Attend Day 2 (4 module sessions) at an onsite CAP I course
4. Attend 4 other approved onsite CAP I recert modules (CAP Module Clinic, another coaching ed clinic)
5. Attend 4 other approved online CAP I recert modules (See list of approved modules)
6. Attend a CAP II course and become CAP II certified by completing all requirements within 12 months
7. Volunteer at a USAV Coaching Education event or at the USAV National Office (Click here for ways to volunteer for credit!)
8. Participate as a coach in a National High Performance event (Click here for the list of HP module credits.)
9. Attend or present at the Annual AVCA Convention (www.avca.org)
10. Host a CAP course or CAP module clinic (Click here for the list of module credits for hosting or being involved with hosting.
Current Level II re-certification:
1. Attend another full CAP II onsite course
2. Attend Day 1 (core sessions) at an onsite CAP II course
3. Attend Day 2 (5-6 module sessions) at an onsite CAP II course
4. Attend 5 other approved onsite CAP II recert modules (CAP Module Clinic, another coaching ed clinic)
5. Attend 5 other approved online CAP II recert modules (See list of approved modules)
6. Attend a CAP III course and become CAP III certified by completing all requirements within 12 months
7. Attend an IMPACT Instructor Training course for 3 module credits (More details on IMPACT Instructor recert modules)
8. Teach up to 3 Regional Onsite IMPACT Clinics per quad (4 years)
9. Volunteer at a USAV Coaching Education event or at the USAV National Office (Click here for ways to volunteer for credit!)
10. Participate as a coach in a National High Performance event (Click here for the list of HP module credits.)
11. Attend or present at the Annual AVCA Convention (www.avca.org)
